Microsoft has announced the first live event of its 2017 holiday season, merging the PS5 and Xbox Live events with the dragons event on Microsoft Live.
The new events will debut on Tuesday, Dec. 24.
The first live show of the year will be an “All-Star Live” featuring Xbox Live’s “Live Games” on Xbox, featuring new games from Microsoft, Capcom, Activision, Sega and Sony, as well as the popular PS4 and Xbox games.
Microsoft also plans to host “Xbox LIVE Games on Demand,” allowing gamers to play games they can’t buy on Xbox and play them at home, via the Xbox app.
Xbox Live Games on demand will also launch with Microsoft’s next-generation Xbox console, codenamed “PlayStation Neo.”
Microsoft has said that this new console will launch in early 2019.
Microsoft will also host a special event at Microsoft headquarters on Tuesday that will highlight the first Xbox Live games released in 2017.
It will feature a special “Xbox Live: The Best of 2017” game-play show, featuring a variety of popular games and playable demos.
This event will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec and Jan, respectively.
Microsoft Live Events will be streamed live from its online hub, Xbox.com.
